We advise passengers to check in at the airport at least 1 (one) hour before departure time for domestic departure and 2 (two) hours before departure time for international departure; however, it is even better to arrive at the airport earlier than expected.

City Check-in
City Check-in service is available at Garuda Indonesia Sales Office (domestic branch office) which available from 48 to 4 hours before departure time.
Phone Check-in
Passengers who possess a ticket can check in by telephone through the Garuda Indonesia Call Center. This service is available from 24 hours to 4 hours before departure.
Referring to the provisions of Government regulations regarding the Domestic Travel Protocol by Air Transportation during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic, the Phone Check-In facility is temporarily disabled.
Web Check-in
Garuda Indonesia Web Check-in is an alternative check-in provided by Garuda Indonesia for Passenger to simplify check in via website. Available for domestic and international flight from:

Passenger Pre-Flight Preparation
Please be advised if you have any special requests, you can tell our customer service in advance while making your bookings. Passengers need to show the check in staff the bookings and also inform them if passengers have any special conditions, requests or require special attentions.
Make sure you have what you need before you arrive at the security gates. The documentation needed can vary depending on your destination, so it’s good to check ahead to make sure you’re good to go.
Check-In Counter Requirements
Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they hold all valid travel documents (tickets, passports, visas, etc.) and comply with the entry, exit, transit or other requirements of the countries they are travelling to. Passengers may be refused entry into a country if they do not have the required or valid travel documents. Garuda Indonesia and our check-in staff will not be liable in any way for any consequences arising out of your not having the required or valid travel documents.
Check In Advices
It’s important to arrive on time and ready because it's often hard to tell how long everything is going to take. Remember, it is passengers’ responsibility to arrive at the airport with enough time to complete all ticketing, baggage check and security clearance procedures to arrive at the gate ready to board. If you don't complete the check-in process by these deadlines, you won't make your flight and change fees may apply.
