All seats offered will always be subject to availability depending on the aircraft type. According to Civil Aviation and Safety Regulations, emergency exit row can only be book through Garuda Indonesia Sales Office by passenger with the following criteria:

  1. Not pregnant, elderly, passenger with special needs/disabilities (DPNA), under 15 years old, or a passenger requiring special assistance.
  2. Be able to follow verbal safety instructions during event of emergency and be fully able-bodied and have sufficient strength to operate through emergency exit doors.
  3. Garuda Indonesia reserves the right to determine the eligibility and criteria for passenger occupying emergency seats.

  1. Garuda Indonesia Website
    • Ensure you have a valid Garuda Indonesia flight ticket, then visit www.garuda-indonesia.com.
    • Select the ‘Manage My Booking’ menu and enter your flight details.
    • Click on ‘Continue to Additional Service.’
    • Choose the ‘Select Seat’ menu.
    • Select your desired seat and click the ‘Confirm and Close’ button.
    • Proceed by selecting ‘Continue to Payment’ to finalize the payment.

  2. FlyGaruda App
    • Ensure you have a valid Garuda Indonesia flight ticket, then open the FlyGaruda app.
    • Go to the ‘My Trip’ menu, click ‘Add Trip,’ and enter your flight details.
    • Select the ‘Manage Booking’ menu, then choose ‘Additional Services.’
    • Click on ‘Select Seat.’
    • Pick your preferred seat and click ‘Confirm.’
    • Select ‘Continue’ to proceed with the payment.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Applicable for all domestic Garuda Indonesia flights, excluding code-share/interline flights where Garuda Indonesia is not the operating carrier.
  2. In case of irregularities, passengers may request a refund by submitting their boarding pass and providing or attaching proof of EMD. Voluntary refunds are not permitted.
  3. Passengers may request a voluntary refund if they upgrade their ticket from economy class to business class/first class.
  4. In compliance with CASR (Civil Aviation Safety Regulations), emergency exit row seats can only be booked through Garuda Indonesia sales offices and are reserved for passengers who meet the following criteria:
    • Not pregnant, elderly, requiring special assistance, under 15 years old, or needing additional support.
    • Able to understand and follow instructions properly in an emergency and possess adequate physical ability.
  5. Garuda Indonesia reserves the right to determine eligibility and passenger criteria for occupying Emergency Seats.
