Planning a Vacation to Thailand? Don't forget to fill out TDAC!

Starting May 1, 2025, the process of entering Thailand will be easier and more efficient! The Thai government is now implementing the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) as a replacement for the paper-based arrival form (TM.6). TDAC is mandatory to be filled out online by all tourists entering Thailand by air, land, or sea.

What is TDAC?

TDAC is a digital arrival form designed to speed up the immigration process and replace manual filling. With this system, you just need to fill out the form from anywhere, then show it confirmation when you arrive in Thailand. Simple, right?

The following are the provisions regarding the implementation of TDAC:

  1. Effective May 1, 2025, all non-Thai nationals entering Thailand by air, land, or sea must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online prior to arrival.
  2. The TDAC can be submitted up to three days before the travel date. For example, if a passenger is scheduled to arrive in Thailand on May 1, 2025, the TDAC form may be completed as early as April 28, 2025 until the arrival day.
  3. The TDAC system is integrated with APPS, ABC, and Biometric Systems to improve the efficiency of immigration procedures at Thailand's entry points.
  4. The digital TDAC replaces the paper-based TM.6 arrival card.
  5. Guidelines for completing the TDAC form:
    • Visit the official website : https://tdac.immigration.go.th
    • Klik menu “Arrival Card”
    • Click on the "Arrival Card" menu
    • Completing the required information in the following three sections below:
      • Personal Information: Passport information and personal details.
      • Trip s Accomodation Infomation: Arrival and departure information, as well as complete accommodation details during your stay in Thailand.
      • Health Declaration: Information on the countries stayed within 2 weeks before arrival.
    • Click “Add Another Traveler” to add information for another passenger and fill in the data in the three sections above.
    • Click “Preview” to display the preview page.
    • A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided. Please verify that the email address is correct before submitting the form.

  6. Upon arrival in Thailand, show the confirmation email to the immigration officer at the point of entry.
  7. There is no charge for completing the TDAC form.

Starting 20 November 2025, all foreign visitors entering Mainland China are required to complete the China Online Arrival Card prior to departure. This new requirement is implemented to streamline immigration procedures and ensure a smoother arrival process at ports of entry in China.

What is COACF?

COACF (China Online Arrival Card Filing) is a digital arrival form developed by the Chinese government to collect passenger arrival information online before they enter China. Proof of completion must be presented during the immigration process upon arrival.

Key Implementation Guidelines for COACF:

  1. Effective 20 November 2025, all foreign visitors entering Mainland China must complete the China Online Arrival Card before arrival.
  2. The COACF form can be filled out within a designated time frame before departure to support a faster immigration process upon entry.
  3. The COACF system is integrated with China’s immigration platforms and replaces the previous process of submitting arrival information upon landing.
  4. Visitors are required to present proof of COACF submission at immigration checkpoints upon arrival.
  5. The COACF must be completed online via the following official platforms provided by the Chinese authorities:
    • Official website of the China National Immigration Administration (NIA)
    • https://s.nia.gov.cn/ArrivalCardFillingPhone/
    • China National Government Service Platform
    • “NIA 12367” mobile application
    • WeChat (Alipay) mini program
    • Official QR Code available for mobile scanning (as attached)
