    As a GarudaMiles member, you have the opportunity to collect Award Miles, which are Miles that can be redeemed for various rewards such as Award Tickets and Upgrade Awards. These redemptions are not limited to personal use—they can also be transferred to family members or close acquaintances.

    In addition to earning Miles through flight activities, you can also boost your Miles balance through the Buy Miles feature. This allows you to purchase additional Miles to accelerate your path to rewards, whether it’s for flight tickets, service class upgrades, hotel accommodations, or other exclusive services from Garuda Indonesia.

    By understanding and maximizing the Miles earning and redemption system, you can plan more rewarding, cost-efficient, and comfortable journeys.

    To help you plan your journey more comfortably, effective July 29, 2026, our existing Miles redemption program will be offered as Saver Award, Miles redemption rates can be downloaded via the link. To find out the mileage requirements for the "Flexi Award," you can contact GarudaMiles Customer Service at +62 811 2807 807 (select the GarudaMiles service) or visit the nearest Garuda Indonesia sales office.

    As part of our commitment to improve our members' experiences and guaranteeing fair benefits for all members, GarudaMiles announces a new guideline regarding the number of miles required for an Award Ticket Infant Without Seat while flying with Garuda Indonesia.

    Here’s the newest scheme adjustment for Award Ticket Redemption:

    Terms & Conditions :

    1. Rate adjustment for Award Ticket Redemption for infant is eligible starting from July 1st, 2024.
    2. Infant passenger is a baby under 2 years old.
    3. 10% rate is only eligible for infant without seat.
    4. Passenger of child category with an age of 2–11 years old with seat will be charged 100%.
    5. Redemption of infant without seat 10% is only valid for full redemption; for cash & miles tickets, follow the applicable provisions.
    6. Applies only to award ticket redemptions using GarudaMiles
    7. Only applied for Garuda Indonesia prime flight.
    8. The mileage rate percentage indicates the proportion of miles required to be redeemed compared to the normal fare.
    9. Award Ticket redemption can be done through:
      • Garuda Indonesia WhatsApp Service at +62 811 2807 807
      • Garuda Indonesia Sales Offices
      • Airport Ticketing Offices
    10. When redeeming Award Miles for an Award Ticket or Upgrade Award, GarudaMiles members are still subject to additional charges such as local airport tax, extra government taxes, insurance fees, fuel surcharge, and/or other additional fees determined by Garuda Indonesia and its airline partners.
    11. Any misuse or fraudulent activity related to this benefit is entirely the responsibility of the involved parties, whether GarudaMiles members or others involved.
    12. Other terms and conditions follow the general GarudaMiles policies in effect.

    How to Redeem Award Miles for Award Ticket

    Choose your desired flight destination and departure date. You can check miles needed for your desired destination by seeing  Redeem Miles Calculator
    Make sure that you have enough Award Miles in your account for your intended destination.
    Or you can directly visit Garuda Indonesia Sales Office to reserve your flight. Complete the Award Ticket application form available for download here or at any Garuda Indonesia Sales Office.
    Submit the completed and signed Award Ticket form along with your original and valid GarudaMiles membership card and ID (KTP, passport), original family card (barcode/non barcode). Members outside Indonesia can show their original passport.
    Claim the Award Ticket at the same Garuda Indonesia Sales Office where you submitted your form. Signed duty stamp by GarudaMiles account owner and authorized person must showing the original identity card, passport and family card of the GarudaMiles account owner
    • Open Fly Garuda App, which you can download on the Google Play Store for Android or on the App Store for iOS.
    • Log in to your GarudaMiles account. Enter your email or GarudaMiles number and password, then click “Log In”.
    • Fill in your desired travel details on the booking form:
      • One way / round trip
      • Departure and arrival city
      • Date of travel
      • Total number of passengers
      • Desired cabin class
    • Select “Redeem My GarudaMiles” then click “Search”.
    • Continue the process by selecting your preferred flight schedule, follow the instructions, and complete the payment for taxes and fuel surcharges.
    • Visit Garuda Indonesia
    • Login to your GarudaMiles account. Fill in your email or GarudaMiles number and Password, then click login.
    • Fill your desired travel details on the booking form
      • Oneway / roundtrip
      • Departure and arrival city
      • Date of travel
      • Total of passenger
      • Cabin class
    • Click "Redeem My GarudaMiles" then click search logo "🔍"
    • Continue the process by selecting flight schedule and follow the instruction then completing the payment of taxes and fuel surcharges.

    How to Redeem Award Miles for an Upgrade Award

    Purchase an Executive or Economy class ticket for your desired destination and departure date
    Make sure that you have enough Award Miles in your account for a First Class or Business Class upgrade for your intended flight. You can check miles needed for your desired destination by seeing  Redeem Miles Calculator
    Or you can directly visit Garuda Indonesia Sales Office to reserve your flight. Complete the Upgrade Award Form available for download here or at any Garuda Indonesia Sales Office.
    Submit the completed Upgrade Award form, along with the purchased Business Class or Economy class ticket, your original GarudaMiles membership card, and ID (KTP, passport), original family card (barcode/non barcode). Members outside Indonesia can show their original passport.
    Claim the upgraded ticket at the same Garuda Indonesia Sales Office where you submitted your form. Signed duty stamp by GarudaMiles account owner and authorized person must showing the original identity card, passport and family card of the GarudaMiles account owner.
