We made several adjustments for GarudaMiles membership qualification effective on December 15th 2020 to ensure you get the main privilege of being GarudaMiles member.

Herewith several adjustments with details as follows :
- The period for collecting Tier Miles is still the same as the current policy, which is 12 months or refer to other policy issued by GarudaMiles
- Especially for GarudaMiles Gold and Platinum members, during the transition period from 15
December 2020 to 30 June 2021, GarudaMiles includes frequency of member flights to upgrade to
Platinum or maintain the Platinum membership level. Following are the qualification details to
get and to maintain GarudaMiles Platinum membership for the period 15 December 2020 to 30 June
2021:
- Upgrade: minimum 30,000 tier miles or 50 tier frequencies
- Maintain: minimum 25,000 tier miles or 45 tier frequencies
- Frequency is no longer counted as a qualification requirement for GarudaMiles
- New qualification policy will be applied for maintenance and downgrade process for GarudaMiles Silver member with membership validity period which expires after December 15th 2020 and for GarudaMiles Gold and Platinum members which has passed the transition period, after June 30th 2020.

To maintain GarudaMiles Gold membership after the evaluation, GarudaMiles Gold member must have minimum 15.000 tier miles
* GarudaMiles Gold special check-in counter benefits are only valid at T3 Soekarno Hatta Airport
** Baggage priority tag for GarudaMiles Gold member is using “Gold” tag or Priority tag. GarudaMiles Gold member with First Class and Business Class flight, will get priority baggage handling. GarudaMiles Gold member with Economy Class flight, claim the baggage on general conveyor belt
*** Bonus miles are only valid for flights operated directly by Garuda Indonesia (prime flights)

GarudaMiles Platinum

Precious Mileage Platinum membership entitles you to the very highest level of recognition available on our program. As a platinum member, you will get various privileges such as VIP invitations as an honored guest at premier events for selected members. Naturally, Platinum members are entitled to all of the privileges that are available to Gold members. In fact, you'll find some of them are even more attractive; for instance, an extra 20 kg baggage allowance & earn 25% Tier Bonus. |
