Garuda Indonesia Economy Class passengers can now experience the comfort of the Garuda Executive Lounge, where you can relax before your flight with exclusive amenities designed to enhance your travel experience.

The Garuda Executive Lounge is designed to provide extra comfort by offering a range of exclusive facilities, including a diverse selection of food and beverages with both local and international flavours, comfortable seating for relaxation, a dedicated workspace equipped with free Wi-Fi, a children’s play area, and other premium amenities.

Note: The facilities available at each lounge may vary depending on the location and type of lounge.


  1. Passengers can book the Garuda Executive Lounge service for departure no later than 5 (five) hours before departure.
  2. For transit passengers can book Garuda Executive Lounge service no later than 5 (five) hours before the first flight. (Example: For DPS-CGK-KNO, the booking must be made 5 hours before the flight from DPS).
  3. Passengers can access the Garuda Executive Lounge no later than 4 (four) hours before departure or 4-8 hours before a connecting flight.
  4. This service applies to all domestic and international Garuda Indonesia flights, except for code share/interline flights where Garuda Indonesia is not the operating carrier.
  5. The Garuda Executive Lounge service can only be used on the same date as the passenger's flight.
  6. Passengers aged 2 (two) years and above will be charged for the Garuda Executive Lounge service. If both or one of the child's parents is a GarudaMiles Platinum member, the child passenger will still be charged for the lounge service.
  7. 1 (one) voucher code/EMD is valid for 1 (one) passenger only.
  8. Garuda Executive Lounge facilities can only be booked based on availability and are not valid on the following dates:
    • 7 (seven) days before and after Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, and Christmas.
    • 7 (seven) days before and after New Year's Day.
    • Holiday seasons such as school vacations or long weekends.
  9. Passengers are required to show documents before entering the Lounge area, including:
    • Lounge voucher code or EMD
    • Identification Card (ID card or Passport)
    • Boarding Pass
  10. Lounge purchases do not apply to the VIP area (VIP room) or First Class Lounge.
  11. Lounge purchases are limited to a maximum of 50 (fifty) passengers per group for domestic routes and 20 (twenty) passengers per group for international routes.
  12. Additional passengers in a group booking may purchase the Garuda Executive Lounge service directly at the Garuda Indonesia Airport Ticket Office.
  13. Reschedule Terms:
    • Involuntary: Reschedule with the new flight schedule.
    • Voluntary (Passenger Requirements): Reschedule is allowed only once per voucher code/EMD. Reschedule requests must be submitted no later than 24 hours before the flight and should include necessary documents such as the lounge booking code, voucher/EDM code, and details of the reschedule request.

  14. Refund Policy:
    Voluntary refunds (Passenger Requirements) are not permitted; however, involuntary refunds (airline error) may be requested under the following conditions:
    1. Flight cancellations
    2. Flight schedule changes
    3. Failure to re-accommodate
    4. Excess or insufficient transportation
    5. Passenger offloading
    6. Incorrect flight connection
    7. Security or legal reasons
    8. Force majeure

    The refund process can be processed no later than 3 (three) days after the flight schedule (for example: if the passenger's flight is on May 10, 2024, the refund can be processed no later than May 13, 2024). The refund process can only be done at the Garuda Indonesia Sales Office or Garuda Indonesia Airport Ticket Office.

  1. Garuda Indonesia Website
    • Visit the website www.garuda-indonesia.com and book an Economy Class ticket.
    • Select your preferred Economy Class flight.
    • Ensure the selected flight information is correct, then click ‘Continue to Passenger Details.’
    • After filling in passenger details, click ‘Continue to Additional Service.’
    • On the Additional Services page, click ‘Select Lounge’ under Garuda Executive Lounge.
    • Choose an available lounge; a booking review will appear at the bottom.
    • If the booking details are correct, click ‘Add Lounge Access Service.’
    • Click ‘Submit Garuda Lounge Service.’
    • Click ‘Continue to Booking Details.’
    • After the booking review appears, check the checkbox, then click ‘Continue to Payment’ to proceed with payment.
    • Confirmation of lounge booking success or failure will be sent via email.

  2. FlyGaruda App
    • Open the FlyGaruda app and book an Economy Class ticket from the ‘Booking’ menu.
    • After filling in passenger details, click the ‘Submit’ menu.
    • When the Trip Confirmation pop-up appears, click ‘Yes, Continue.’
    • On the booking review page, click the ‘Lounge’ menu.
    • Select your desired lounge and click ‘Confirmation.’
    • Check the checkbox, then click ‘Submit.’
    • Click ‘Go to Payment’ to proceed with payment.
    • Confirmation of lounge booking success or failure will be sent via email.
